Permission Model

SecurityBot uses a three-tier permission model:

  • Administrator -- User has Discord ADMINISTRATOR permission, is the server owner, or has the configured SecurityBot admin role.

  • Moderator+ -- User is an Administrator (above) or has the configured SecurityBot moderator role.

  • Public -- Available to all server members.

Users with the Exempt role bypass chat filters but do not gain any command access.
